Airport Transfers

Melbourne Airport is located about 25km from the City Centre, less than 30 minutes by car. Melbourne Airport is easily accessible, with many public and private transport services available.

Taxis are available from the ground floor level of Melbourne Airport. Expect to pay around AU$35 to AU$40 for the 30 minute trip into the centre of Melbourne.

Visas and Insurance

All visitors need a valid passport and visa for entry into Australia. International delegates are strongly advised to take out a comprehensive medical and travel insurance policy prior to travelling.

 

International Travel

For international delegates, we suggest you allow yourself a day in which to relax after your flight before the Convention commences. Travellers flying westwards across the Pacific Ocean are reminded that you will lose a day by crossing the International Date Line.
