HOW TO BOOK, FEES, BOOKING CONDITIONS

To book your classes, read the descriptions in this program, and use the Timetable to plan your class selections.
When you are ready to book, please log onto our website: www.aqc.com.au and follow the menu items to The Convention. Make your booking online by first selecting the package you want, then selecting your classes. The system will only allow bookings for the number of class places available. There is no need to choose second preferences – you will be able to see immediately which classes have places available. To use the online booking system, you will need access to the internet and a credit card. An email will be sent instantly confirming your booking.

BOOKING CLASSES for 2010: Previous delegates will not need a password - please disregard your password from previous years as our new booking system eliminates the need for it. You will be able to book online from October 26.

Easy Step-by-Step Booking

1. Decide which package you will take up: Gold or (Gold plus partner dinner ticket), Two Day (Thursday-Friday) or Two Day (Saturday-Sunday).
2. Decide which social events you will attend. You must book these even though they are included in your chosen package.
3. Choose your classes and have your credit card handy.
4. Click here. Complete your details then follow the prompts to secure your classes and make your payment.

Convention Fees

Class Packages

Gold Pass includes:

• Four days of class tuition
• Sample products from sponsors and exhibitors
• 2010 AQC collector bag
• 2010 AQC collector pin
• Ticket to the Welcome Cocktail Party
• VI P preview of the Expo and AQC Quilt Show (Thursday and Friday mornings)
• Twelve by Twelve floortalk by Brenda Smith, 9am Thursday (delegates only)
• Unlimited entry to the Expo and AQC Quilt Show
• Friday evening lecture
• Ticket to the Gala Dinner
• Option to book a discounted rate for partner’s Gala Dinner ticket (Gold delegates can book a partner’s ticket for an additional fee of $99. Must be booked at time of Gold Pass booking.)
• Continuous tea and coffee from Thursday to Sunday inclusive
• Personal snack pack on class days
• Lunch on class days
• Personal souvenir photograph

Fee payable:
$875 early bird (before November 30, 2009)
$955 for bookings received after November 30, 2009

OR ADD $99 for a discounted Gala Dinner ticket for your partner

Fee payable: $675*

One-Day Dash  Includes:

• Class and session
• Lunch
• Entry to the Expo and AQC Quilt Show on day of class 

Fee Payable: $199 standard price

* These packages are inclusive of all items listed and there can be no deletions, trading, or swapping of individual events. Additional social events not included in the package may be booked separately if tickets are available.

Some social events can be booked by the general public.

The following fees apply:
• Welcome Cocktail Party: $70
• Friday evening lecture: $35
• Gala Dinner: $125

Booking Conditions

Payment of fees must accompany all bookings otherwise the booking cannot be processed.

• Cancellations received in writing before March 19, 2010 will receive a 75 per cent refund of fees paid and will be at Expertise Events sole discretion. After this date there will be no refunds. All cancellations must be forwarded to Expertise Events in writing. Please note that substitutions of the delegate may be accepted in lieu of a cancellation, at the discretion of Expertise Events but, due to limited class numbers, class selection changes cannot be made.
• To take advantage of any early bird rate, bookings must be made before November 30, 2009.
• In the event of a tutor cancellation due to illness or other unforeseen circumstance, the tutor will be replaced and no refunds will be available in this instance.
