WELCOME BACK KOPANANG!
March 4, 2014
In 2008, the Kopanang Community Trust from South Africa came to AQC to share their hand embroidery and beadwork with our visitors. The trust helps women and children desperately in need as a result of the impact of HIV/Aids in their community.
We welcome back the people from Kopanang once again to AQC – come and meet them and see the work they do. In their words: ‘The story of our journey together is intricately woven in the joy of working with needle and thread. The blessing of being able to come together, share our sorrow, pain and laughter is visible in this work.’
